Abstract: This paper examines the role of organizational change management in supporting sustainable industrial transformation in the context of digitalization, Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0. The analysis is based on the premise that technological adoption alone is not sufficient to generate sustainable organizational change. Effective transformation requires the alignment of technology with strategy, organizational processes, employee competencies, governance mechanisms and sustainability objectives. Based on the literature on organizational change, digital transformation and sustainable manufacturing, the paper proposes an integrated managerial framework structured around six components: diagnosis of the need for change and organizational readiness, strategic alignment, leadership mobilization and employee participation, the development of competencies, experimentation and scaling, and institutionalization combined with continuous learning. The analysis suggests that sustainable industrial transformation should be understood as a continuous process of coordinated reconfiguration of technologies, processes, competencies and management mechanisms. In this context, change management provides the link between strategic objectives and operational implementation, while organizational learning and adaptability become essential conditions for maintaining transformation over time.
